The pilot project, under its old name “Zvuci iz krošnje” (“Sounds from the Treetop”) — originally the name of a series of jam sessions during Gnezdo’s first year — was created in response to the growing interest in organising and taking part in music events at Gnezdo.

If you love electronic music, DJ at home, but don’t often get the chance to play in front of an audience, Gnezdo is opening its doors — and its terrace — to young and emerging DJs, giving them a chance to gain their first live experience, develop a connection with the audience, and discover what performing a full DJ set in front of a crowd is really like.

All kinds of genres are welcome: trance, psychill, techno, drum & bass, ambient, dubstep and beyond — we don’t want to set any limits. We hope to hear a little bit of everything and uncover some of the young hidden gems currently mixing away in their bedrooms across Kruševac.

This Saturday, we’re introducing Nemanja Pavlović AKA Necilee, who will share his take on tech house with us.

Free entry. We’re hoping to be out on the terrace, weather permitting.

If you’d like to take part, send us a message on Instagram or Facebook, or contact us at akc.gnezdo@gmail.com.
