Together Towards Decent Work

The Women’s Association for Labor Rights ROZA from Zrenjanin is bringing to Kruševac the performance “Together Towards Decent Work” on June 30.

The performance will take place at AKC Gnezdo, Živorada Stankovića bb, Kruševac (Bivolje), starting at 6 PM. Admission is free.

These are powerful, painful, and deeply personal stories—stories that are hard to believe, yet also ones we have experienced ourselves. They speak about violence, discrimination, layoffs, humiliation, injustice. You will hear us, members of ROZA and “actresses.” In reality, we are simply workers—ordinary girls and women. We tell other people’s stories, but we have also felt on our own skin every word we speak.

There are also stories that give strength—stories that show it is possible to raise your voice and say a loud “NO” to terror, harassment, and mobbing.

“You are not alone” is the main message of our performance.

The stories have been collected over years through direct conversations with women across Serbia. All the experiences shared with us are now beginning a new life on stage through this performance, made possible thanks to the Trag Foundation and the Reconstruction Women’s Fund.

We have performed so far in Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Leskovac, and Belgrade. Our journey continues.
