All Those Lonely People

With great pleasure, we invite you not to miss the guest performance of our dear friends from Zrenjanin!

The play All Those Lonely People by CEKOM – Center for Creative Growing and Multicultural Cooperation was created through a creative drama process and explores the emotional state of loneliness and its causes.

The story follows a young girl named Merima who, after losing someone close to her, is drawn into an increasingly deep state of sadness and loneliness. The plot takes place over the course of one night, which becomes a night of realization and acceptance for her.

We recognized the theme of loneliness as extremely important, especially among young people, with the desire to open more space for conversation about it. The personal experiences of the performers are woven into a story that reflects on loneliness from emotional, mental, and social perspectives.
