Let’s Renew the Lower Deck

“Let’s Renew the Lower Deck” is a project by the Kruševac informal citizens’ group Nestlings, supported through the #ŠtaNamTeško initiative within the Youth Are the Law program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Young Researchers of Serbia.

We formed the informal group Nestlings with the aim of encouraging young people to actively participate in shaping social life in Kruševac. With the consent of FK Borac from Bivolje and Fakiri sa juga, we decided to make the lower floor of AKC Gnezdo functional and accessible to those who need the space the most—our young fellow citizens.

After the renovation of the space, we plan to paint the lower floor with murals, and we hope for the participation of talented high school and university students. We are pleased that in this way we will expand the capacity of AKC Gnezdo, a creative space for young people, and create a platform for new activities so that youth can meaningfully spend their free time on their own terms, with our full support and assistance.

We invite all young people to help arrange and decorate the space with their murals, leaving their personal mark in an environment intended for them.

We also invite all good-willed citizens to join our action and, together with us, create a space that we will all use for the promotion of culture, art, and a healthy and quality lifestyle.
