Narcissus is never just one. She is THREE. Is she voluntarily imprisoned in her room, or is she there because of helplessness and a lack of desire to face the world around her? Because she has come to realise that she will never be either the Ideal or the Virtual Narcissus. Will she learn to sail in a bathtub, to walk fearlessly through life with her head held high and with peace within herself?

This is a Gen Z story about virtual worlds, depression, and the difficulty of saying “no.” That “no” is a particular challenge often faced by young girls and women in general, raised in a patriarchal society to always be “good little girls” for whom the word “no!” is forbidden and unacceptable.

The performance is an original theatrical exploration of narcissistic personalities in our society, our country, our surroundings and on social media. It is also about accepting that we are not perfect, but human — vulnerable, incomplete, constantly growing, rebuilding and rediscovering ourselves.
