MONODRAMA “CHILDREN OF HELL”

This is an intimate confession of a mother whose child has been destroyed by drugs. The play sheds light on the devastating consequences of addiction from the perspective of a parent witnessing the complete collapse of her child’s life.

The monodrama was first performed for the local audience 20 years ago, directed by Miomir Miki Stamenković. Lidija Užarević played the lead role then as well, and later participated in its screen adaptation in 2008.
