This time, the workshop focuses on the concept of the selfie. We will: take selfies transform them into sound/noise process them using audio effects (echo, distortion, delay, etc.) combine selfie-noise with meaningful sounds and finally convert everything back into an image
Ivana Miljković graduated from the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade, majoring in Digital Arts. She describes herself as a “joker card,” plays bass in the band KOIKOI, and occasionally appears on gallery walls. She has been spotted multiple times on the program of Kvaka 22.
Since 2018, Ivana has been regularly leading Glitch+Art workshops in Belgrade and Brussels.

This time, the workshop focuses on the concept of the selfie.
We will:
take selfies
transform them into sound/noise
process them using audio effects (echo, distortion, delay, etc.)
combine selfie-noise with meaningful sounds
and finally convert everything back into an image
The result will be a glimpse of what could be an individual “destiny” of each participant. These processes are treated carefully, as “destinies behave differently when attention is directed toward them” (scientifically proven 😉).
Workshop: 12:00 – 17:00
Finished works will be printed and exhibited at AKC Gnezdo until the next exhibition opening
Participants can choose to take their works home or leave them in Gnezdo
🎧 Participation is free / donation-based.
💻 Please bring your own laptop with Gimp and Audacity installed.
At the exhibition opening, a concert by the band Seine is expected, along with a possible free jam session between Ivana, members of the band, and anyone willing to participate. Audio-reactive projections will be displayed behind them.
The workshop and exhibition are part of the annual gallery program of AKC Gnezdo, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia within the 2021 call for projects in visual arts, design, and architecture.
