18:00 lecture “Backpacking” – how to travel the world on a small budget What is backpacking and why is it important for young people to travel around the world? How much money do you need for such a trip and how can you get it? How do you plan expenses during the trip and how can you economize? Is this kind of travel safe? When and how should you make the decision, and how do you communicate it to your parents? We will talk about these and many other questions with Arsen Krsmanović, who traveled this way for five and a half years across South America. 19:00 performance by the vocal ensemble of the choir “Biser”. This ensemble performs traditional folk music, as well as music from other genres: spiritual, old-town, and evergreen. Over the past 19 years, the “BISER” ensemble has participated in many cultural events in Kruševac and the surrounding area, as well as at folklore events and festivals in neighboring countries. 20:00 the play “Virus”, produced by the Veliko Gradište Guitar Festival, deals with the fundamental problems faced by people living with HIV, but also, in its educational aspect, with all other marginalized groups on various grounds. It addresses prejudice and stereotypes. This play places the family as the foundation of society. “VIRUS” aims to awaken empathy, promote the values of togetherness and coexistence, and encourage reflection on helping anyone in need. Its special appeal lies in the fact that a live band plays an important role throughout the performance. In this way, the Veliko Gradište Guitar Festival is promoted and unaffirmed bands are encouraged to apply and submit their demo recordings to the festival.
