MOBILE LIBRARY BIBLIOBUS

AKC Gnezdo and the Krokodil Association from Belgrade invite you to a one-day youth program that will be held in front of or inside Gnezdo (depending on weather conditions), as part of the Mobile Library – Bibliobus program.

The Bibliobus is a multimedia, multilingual mobile library—a van equipped with books, furniture including 5 tables and 20 chairs, speakers, a projector, and tablets. It is an important activity within the regional READ project, supported by the EU and involving cooperation between six organizations from the region. The library’s content is intended for all age groups, from young children to adults.

As part of the Bibliobus visit, we will host a presentation by poet Siniša Gavrić, who was awarded the Radio Belgrade 2 Prize and the Festival Prize for his poem “Potraga” at the 55th Festival of Youth Culture of Serbia in Knjaževac “Timočka Lira”. He was born in Sarajevo (1987), grew up in Kruševac, and graduated and completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.

The program will also include a book exchange (you can bring one book and swap it for another from the Mobile Library), as well as readings of poetry by young poets from Kruševac.

On the same evening, August 30th at 20:00, musicians from Brazil, “Musical Manifesto”, will perform at AKC Gnezdo.
