Having and Not Having

“Having” in this context refers to resources (such as an electric rotisserie, a compact disc, sunscreen SPF 50, a tuxedo, a paintbrush, a generator, or a cabbage-stone for pickling), skills (such as crocheting, sumo wrestling, makeup artistry, listening, horseshoeing, plastering, influencing, matchmaking, or figure skating), and knowledge (such as ancient history, report writing, fruit grafting, choral singing, reading natal charts, or anatomy) — all of which are starting conditions for the possibility of expression.

Our goal is to jointly open and reflect on these questions: how can we understand and use the potentials we already have?

To change something, we must first perceive it. To initiate a new form of practice, we will break it down into its constituent elements — what is necessary for us to create, to express ourselves, and to seek our place in the world.

We invite you to join a temporary community we are forming for this purpose at AKC Gnezdo in Kruševac. All you need is interest, two objects you are willing to bring and make available to others during the event, and a reflection on what you lack the most.

The event is open to the public from 21:30.
