Our fellow citizen Kristina Blagojević (17) needs financial support for medical treatment. We invite all people of good will to contribute and visit the exhibition of works by former students of the Secondary Polytechnic School, which will be on display from March 22 to April 4 at Gnezdo.
The exhibition features works by: Valentina Ilić, Sofija Ivković, Tijana Nikolić, Jana Žarković, Lena Lazarević, Mateja Stojanović, Anastasija Stanković, and Nina Mihajlović.
At the entrance, there will be a donation box where visitors can leave contributions, which will be transferred to the dinar account: 160-6000001292416-85. You can also help by sending an SMS with the number 1182 to 3030.
The former students of the Polytechnic School express their gratitude to everyone who supports this cause.
About Kristina:
Kristina was healthy and cheerful until 2020, when she began experiencing headaches, fatigue, behavioral changes, difficulties in social interaction, and reduced concentration.
Medical examinations followed, and in the summer of 2021, after an epileptic seizure and a CT scan that revealed brain changes, she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor.
She underwent emergency neurosurgery at the Clinical Center in Belgrade, where the tumor was completely removed. The diagnosis confirmed the most aggressive type of tumor: glioblastoma grade IV.
After a year, the tumor unfortunately returned, and Kristina was operated on again in Istanbul.
Given the aggressive nature of the disease, it is necessary for her to continue treatment as soon as possible at a clinic in Japan, where an innovative therapy using the drug Delytact is applied.
Funds are needed for treatment, specialist examinations, rehabilitation, laboratory analyses, medication and supplements, physical therapy, medical supplies, as well as travel and accommodation expenses.
