Hayvanlar Alemi (Animal Kingdom) is a psychedelic-experimental rock band founded in Ankara in 1999. The band plays heavy, instrumental music with traditional elements from all over the world, and with influences from a variety of styles such as garage, surf, dub, doom, and free improvisation.

In their 25 years of existence, Hayvanlar Alemi released a large variety of work via international labels such as Sublime Frequencies, Glitterbeat, Unrock, and others, which received positive reviews from diverse publications (Wire, Uncut, Bandcamp Daily, Vice, The Guardian, Metal Hammer, Pitchfork), and the band has played more than a hundred shows in 19 countries and 74 venues, including The Barbican, HKW, Vooruit, OCCII, Motel Mozaïque, Druga Godba, and All Tomorrow's Parties. The band's latest vinyl, Psychedelia in Times of Turbulence, was published by the Rome-based label Subsound Records in 2020.

On this tour, the band will consist of the founding members Özüm İtez on guitar and Işık Sarıhan on drums, who will be joined by the Macedonian bass player Deni Omeragić for the first time, known from alternative jazz and experimental rock bands such as Svetlost, Odron, and Strog Post.
