18:00 – Opening of the festival and exhibition
The exhibition consists of three segments:
Women of the Kruševac region in the socialist revolution and World War II
Memorialization of women’s roles in the National Liberation Struggle (NOB), through the example of street renaming in Kruševac
Messengers of Peace
The exhibition brings together local memory culture about women who perished in the NOB and memories of the 1990s, presented through the lens of local press.
It will be open until May 28 at AKC Gnezdo, daily from 4 PM to 7 PM.
18:30 – Panel discussion: “History of Women’s Organizing”

11:00 – 17:00 Public guided tour: “Paths of the Struggle for Freedom”
Visits to locations around Kruševac—Jastrebac, Lomnica, and Slobodište—important for discussing the legacy of World War II and the events of the 1990s.
Departure: Kosturnica Square at 11:00 AM

Performed by the drama section of OŠ Sveti Sava
Inspired by The Diary of Anne Frank

The festival is organized in cooperation with the Center for Applied History, with support from the Open Society Foundation Serbia.
