NOVEMBER 10

5:30 PM — Exhibition of children’s artwork “Bivolje of the Future”
An exhibition featuring works by boys and girls from Bivolje, aged 15 and under.

La Luna Dance School

6 PM — Children’s Rapid Chess Tournament
A rapid chess tournament for young players. Boys and girls from the Kruševac Chess Club chess school and the chess club of Despot Stefan Primary School in Gornji Stepoš will compete individually.

NOVEMBER 11

5 PM — Panel discussion: “Culture Is Not in the Public Interest — So What Is?”
Organised by the Independent Cultural Scene of Serbia Association. The full list of participants will be announced at a later date.

8 PM — “Muškarčine” (“Real Men”) — Reflektor Theatre, Belgrade

A cult production by Reflektor Theatre that has remained in the theatre’s regular repertoire for more than ten years. It has been performed more than 170 times across THIRTEEN COUNTRIES, FIFTY CITIES and TEN VILLAGES IN SERBIA — always to packed audiences.

What is masculinity? What does it mean to be a “Real Man”? Who taught you how to be a man? How do boys grow up in Serbia today? And what is the relationship between masculinity and violence?

These are just some of the questions explored in the performance. Both humorous and deeply moving, post-dramatic and documentary in form, the play emerged from a six-month research process focused on artistic exploration of gender, gender roles, stereotypes, and the ways in which gender stereotypes affect society.

9:30 PM — Birthday Party + Ognia Fire Show

NOVEMBER 12

7 PM — “Krila” (“Wings”) — Kruševac

This socially engaged theatre production explores the position of people with autism and their families in our society. It was created through a collaboration between the Kruševac Association for Assistance to People with Autism, Fakiri sa juga Association, Nove forme Association, the informal youth group “Rtaći iz Kićblona”, and AKC Gnezdo.
