Today we had the great pleasure of organizing a workshop on creating a garden bed for the biology students of “Stanislav Binički” Primary School from Jasika.
The workshop participants had the opportunity to build nutrient-rich layers using natural materials, learn about the importance of organic matter in improving soil quality, fill the bed with soil, and transplant seedlings of zucchini, green beans, sunflowers, tomatoes, and arugula from our garden. We owe great gratitude to the biology teacher, as well as to the school principal, Ivan Pelaić, for their trust and understanding of the importance of non-formal education.
