AKC Gnezdo is an artistic space dedicated to revitalizing and promoting contemporary art through exhibitions, festivals, concerts, cinema, discussions, and workshops. Gnezdo is a meeting place and networking hub for young people, aimed at encouraging and developing their cultural needs and involving them in creating and shaping the alternative cultural scene.
The call is open for:
solo and author exhibitions
curatorial exhibitions/projects
one-day presentations/screenings/promotions/discussions
Required application materials:
Information about the applicant(s): full name, valid email address, and phone number
Project description (up to 2,000 characters)
Technical specifications of the project
Visual documentation (up to 10 illustrations of the proposed project)
CV
Participants may include all citizens of Serbia as well as foreign nationals.
The jury will give preference to artists whose work explores the effects of ultraviolet light, as well as projects that have not been previously realized, with attention to innovation and technical feasibility.
Conditions:
Selected projects must be ready for realization within the exhibition program starting in April 2018. Exact dates will be determined later.
Artists are obliged to carry out the approved project. If the authors significantly modify the approved concept, AKC Gnezdo reserves the right not to accept the changes.

available technical equipment (projector, UV LED spotlights, stereo systems, laptop, computer, etc.)
Application process:
All materials (project description, visuals, CV) must be submitted as a single PDF file named after the project or artist and sent electronically to: akc.gnezdo@gmail.com
Deadline for applications is February 22, 2018 at midnight.
Results will be announced by the end of February via email.
AKC Gnezdo is managed by the association “Fakiri sa juga”, whose project of establishing the center was supported by the Trag Foundation within the program “Active Communities.”
