Gnezdo's Program Coordinator, Kaća Dimitrijević, will take part today in the public discussion Spaces of Freedom, which will be held at 7:00 PM at UMMUS Cultural Center in Kragujevac.
Spaces of Freedom is a series of local public discussions aimed at positioning the existence of independent socio-cultural spaces as one of the key foundations for the development of local communities. The initiative also seeks to bring together activists, artists, citizens, media representatives, and all interested members of local communities around this important topic.
Experience has shown that independent social and cultural spaces generate new initiatives and provide strong support for civic activism, the development of social alternatives, and critical reflection on the current state of society. Our goal is to spread the energy and enthusiasm of these experiences across Serbia, fostering a supportive network of existing independent spaces while encouraging new initiatives in search of places to work, create, and organize.
