Dear all, we are extremely happy to share that the Alternative Cultural Center Gnezdo is one of the three recipients of this year’s recognition awarded by the House of human rights in Belgrade for contributions to the promotion and protection of human rights in Serbia! The awards were presented on the occasion of International Human Rights Day.

“Alternative Cultural Center Gnezdo from Kruševac has shown that things can be done differently! Gnezdo is a space recognized as a seedbed of the city’s positive spirit and activism, built on dedication to the most vulnerable members of our society. It is a symbol of persistence and resistance to imposed social norms that are insensitive to the needs of the community. Through its example of perseverance, Gnezdo has opened space for other similar alternative social venues in Serbia.”
